You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use Prism Nexus for an institution or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.

Provide accurate registration details, protect your credentials, and notify us through the Contact page if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.

Prism Nexus provides proofreading, academic-document analysis, citation and similarity assistance, AI-writing indicators, document conversion, CV-building tools, and related features.

Features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued. Results, processing time, supported formats, and availability can vary with document complexity, system capacity, external research indexes, and technical maintenance.

Free or trial access may require a verified account and may be limited by documents, pages, file size, time period, or feature. Current limits are displayed before processing.

You must not create duplicate accounts, automate submissions, or bypass technical controls to avoid a limit. We may decline, queue, or stop processing that would threaten platform stability or fair access.

You retain the rights you hold in documents and other material you submit. You grant Prism Nexus a limited, non-exclusive permission to receive, reproduce, transform, store, and process that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the requested service.

You confirm that you have the right and authority to submit the content. Do not upload material that is unlawful, malicious, confidential without authorization, or infringes another person's rights.

Proofreading corrections, similarity matches, citation checks, AI-writing indicators, readability scores, and other automated results are advisory. They may contain false positives, false negatives, omissions, or formatting changes.

You must review results before relying on, publishing, or submitting them. AI-writing and similarity scores are evidence signals, not proof of authorship, misconduct, plagiarism, or publication suitability.

Prism Nexus supports research and writing but does not replace independent scholarship, source verification, supervision, peer review, or professional editing.

You are responsible for complying with the rules of your institution, publisher, funder, employer, or examination body and for accurately disclosing tool use when required.

• Use the service only for lawful purposes.
• Do not probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform.
• Do not upload malware or use the service to facilitate fraud, harassment, infringement, or academic misconduct.
• Do not resell, sublicense, or systematically reproduce the service or its proprietary interface without written permission.
• Do not misrepresent automated output as independently verified professional advice.

The platform, software, branding, designs, interfaces, and original site content are owned by or licensed to Prism Nexus and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.

Paid services may be introduced or enabled through third-party payment providers. Before purchase, we will display the price, currency, billing interval, included usage, renewal terms, and applicable taxes or fees.

If you select recurring billing, you authorize renewal charges until cancellation. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not normally reverse completed charges. Our Refund Policy explains refund eligibility.

Some functions depend on infrastructure, payment services, authentication, scholarly indexes, email delivery, or other providers. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. We are not responsible for independent third-party websites or for outages outside our reasonable control.

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risk, non-payment, legal requirements, or a material breach of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion through the Contact page.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prism Nexus is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free output, complete scholarly coverage, specific academic outcomes, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prism Nexus and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, opportunity, revenue, reputation, or academic outcome arising from use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by law. You remain responsible for backups and independent review of important documents.

We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, security, or business changes. We will post the revised version and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Prism Nexus operator, without removing mandatory rights available to you under the law of your residence. Before commencing a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue in good faith.
